Dr. Mark Wilson graduated from the University of Notre Dame, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He then completed his medical education at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. Afterwards, Dr. Wilson pursued a career in Orthopedics completing his internship and residency at LSU Shreveport where he became versed in General Orthopedics. He completed a Sports Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI in order to enhance his expertise in Team Sports Medicine and Complex Arthroscopic surgical techniques. There, he assisted in caring for Division 1 Athletes on and off the field and co-authored multiple peer reviewed articles. He then joined Minden Medical Center and help establish Wilson Orthopedic’s and Sports Medicine in Minden, LA.
Dr. Wilson is very passionate about Sports Medicine, evident by his presence on sidelines every Friday night during football season. He is the team doctor for Glenbrook, Minden, and Lakeside High Schools and has a Saturday Morning Clinic during football season. He is proficient in Shoulder, Hip, and Knee Arthroplasty, but has a special place in his heart for joint restoration surgeries as he is a TRUE Sports Surgeon. Having completed a prestigious, accredited Sports Fellowship program.
In his free time, Dr. Wilson is a family man with two children, Evan and Ella. He also has a strong faith being involved with mission trips, community service, and a weekly Life Group. Of course living in Louisiana, he has developed a passion for deep sea fishing, duck hunting, and losing multiple golf balls when time permits.
Graham Rachal was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. Graham received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2010. In 2013, he received his Masters and Doctorate at the University of South Alabama. Soon after, he began his practice in emergency medicine in the ER at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. Graham transitioned his practice back to Shreveport, LA at Highland Clinic in internal medicine. As a former athlete and lover of all things sports related, Graham feels that orthopedics and sports medicine is a natural fit for him. While at Wilson Orthropaedic’s and Sports Medicine, he enjoys the team centered approach and quality of care. He is married to Anna Rachal and they have a son named Ellis. In his spare time Graham enjoys attending sporting events, spending time with his family and playing the guitar.
Meredith Thibodeaux grew up in Bossier City, LA. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology at LSU Shreveport. For three years after graduation, she worked as an intraoperative neuromonitoring technician in Shreveport. In 2013 she graduated from LSU Health in Shreveport with her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies program, where she received the “Compassionate Caregiver” award. After a brief stint in family medicine, she found her niche as an orthopaedic PA in early 2014. Since, she has strived to improve the quality of life of all her patients by listening to their concerns and tailoring their treatment plans according to their goals. She may not have been much of an athlete, but she enjoys the process of diagnosis and treatment for orthopaedic injuries and ailments. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her baby boy, Jasper, and husband, Jared. She enjoys reading, picnics, singing and listening to music, hiking, and all things chocolate.
Cordarius “Cord” Wayne grew up most of his life in Sterlington, La. Then heading south, he began his passion as an Athletic Trainer at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. Here, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Upon graduating, Cord became BOC certified and medical licensed as an Athletic Trainer after passing his board exam. He began his practice as an Athletic Trainer in 2012 at the University of Louisiana in Monroe as a Graduate Assistant, covering Baseball and Football. While during his stint at ULM, Cord also completed his Master of Science degree in Exercise Science. He has been with Wilson Orthopaedic’s and Sports Medicine now for 3 years. During his time away from taking care of athletes around the Minden Area, he enjoys: playing sport activities, working out, spending time with friends and family, and most of all traveling with his wife Shawnae.
